Cultural Activities Team (CAT) SVIT.
Cultural activities are an integral part of students' college life. Students participate in the cultural activities for a wide variety of reasons: for enjoyment and entertainment, for personal growth and development, as a means of expression, to learn new skills, to meet new people and to pass on the cultural traditions. Sai Vidya Institute of Technology has a rich heritage of nurturing, nourishing and showcasing talents in the fields of cultural, literary and fine arts.
Structure of CAT
SVIT CAT is headed by Principal, aided by the Heads of various departments, Cultural Activity Committee, CAT Secretaries, the student presidents of different clubs and the student volunteers.The Mega event Cultural festival "Sanchalana" conducted every year in the college campus.
Tech Vidya is the state level technical fest being conducted by S.V.I.T, Bangalore every year. Tech Vidya is the perfect blend of science and technology with the additive ingredient of entertainment. With the dream of spreading its wings and expanding its reach beyond previously unseen levels, a host of new events and initiatives are conducted every year. True to the great meaning behind its magnificent name, the Tech Fest ensures celebration of ideas from all around the state on a platform that served as the pedestal that thrusts technological talents of the students. Tech Vidya conducts competitions modeled to test the technical acumen, programming skills, flair for business management, quizzing expertise and mechanical intellect of the participants.
Tech Vidya 2013
Tech Vidya'13 was inaugurated by Prof. Padmanabha Rao. M. N, Director of Engineering Services Routing Group, Cisco System along with our honorable Director Prof. M. R. Holla, Principal Dr. H.D Ramachandra, Convenor Dr. Latha C.A.
Tech Vidya'13 was conducted for 2 days on 17-18 April 2013, in which various events were conducted for various streams of engineering. Events included Paper Presentation, Quiz, Playtronics, Technical Treasure Hunt, Cad Mania, Aakruthi, Vaastu Vinyas, Bug Fixer and Robotics. The participants included many in-house and external students in all the events making it a grand success.
All the department regular workshops and technical seminars for the benefit of students, technical training and special laboratories on Robotics and in house projects being conducted in the college.
