The Examination Section of Sai Vidya Institute of Technology (SVIT) plays a vital role in maintaining academic standards and ensuring transparency, confidentiality, fairness, and integrity throughout the examination and evaluation processes. We are committed to conducting all examinations in a systematic, efficient, timely, and student-centric manner. Our responsibilities include planning and scheduling examinations, coordinating with departments for question paper setting and scrutiny, conducting examinations, digital valuation, processing and publication of results, and facilitating student services such as revaluation, photocopies of answer scripts, transcripts, certificates, and other examination-related documents.

The Examination Section works in close coordination with students, faculty members, Heads of Departments, Deans, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the examination system at SVIT. We also assist students in creating Academic Bank of Credits (ABC)and APAAR IDs, and ensure the timely uploading of grade cards and Provisional Degree Certificates to the National Academic Depository (NAD). Through continuous improvement, adoption of digital technologies, and strict adherence to institutional, university, and regulatory guidelines, the Examination Section strives to strengthen the academic and evaluation framework of SVIT and contribute to the institute's commitment to academic excellence. • Prepare examination schedules, timetables, seating arrangements, room allotments, and invigilation plans.
• Coordinate examination registration, eligibility verification, hall tickets, candidate lists, and attendance records.
• Assist in the confidential processes of question-paper setting, scrutiny/moderation, printing, secure storage, and distribution.
• Coordinate the deployment of invigilators, examination staff, squads, stationery, answer booklets, and other examination requirements.
• Ensure proper conduct of examinations, including candidate verification, attendance, prevention/reporting of malpractice, and adherence to examination procedures.
• Maintain examination records and ensure the safe collection, accounting, and transfer of answer scripts to the Valuation & Results section.
• Coordinate with the Examination Committee (Planning & Conduction), departments, administrative staff, and ERP/IT team for effective examination administration.

• Coordinate centralized/digital valuation, allotment of answer scripts, and appointment/deployment of eligible examiners.
• Ensure implementation of schemes of evaluation, valuation guidelines, moderation, and review procedures.
• Maintain secure custody and proper accounting of answer scripts, marks, and valuation records.
• Supervise marks entry, verification, grading, SGPA/CGPA computation, and result processing.
• Coordinate with the BoE and Examination Committee (Valuation & Results Processing) for review and approval of results.
• Handle revaluation/review, result corrections, examination grievances, grade cards, and related records as per regulations.
• Coordinate with departments, examiners, and the ERP/Examination Management System team for timely publication of results.
