Industry Connect

The Department of Information Science and Engineering places strong emphasis on industry exposure through structured internships, industrial training, and practical learning initiatives. Students have successfully completed internships with reputed organizations such as L2M Rails, Cogniminds, QSpiders and JSpiders, X-WorkZ, Intrakraft Solutions Pvt. Ltd., QSG Technologies, along with several emerging technology firms and startups. These experiences provide valuable hands-on training, enabling students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world industry applications. To further strengthen practical understanding, the department regularly organizes industrial visits to leading organizations including Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and ATAL Labs, offering students insights into large-scale industrial operations, innovation ecosystems, and current industry practices.

In addition to training and exposure, the department actively promotes innovation, collaboration, and industry-oriented learning. Students participate in project expositions, technical fests, and innovation competitions, with several projects receiving Best Project awards at institutional and inter-collegiate levels. These projects often address real-world challenges using modern technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics. The department has established MoUs with leading organizations including IoBiT Solutions, Lab to Market Innovation Pvt. Ltd., KSCST, Infosys Limited, Rubixe, and MongoDB, facilitating collaborative research, internships, workshops, hackathons, FDPs, and consultancy-based projects. Through sustained industry–institute interaction, the department enhances graduate employability, fosters innovation and entrepreneurship, and strengthens alignment with evolving industry standards.
