The Industry-Institution Interaction Cell (IIIC) is being initiated with a goal of intensifying Industry-Institution interactions for making students ‘industry ready’.

The SVIT IIIC will work with the following objectives:

1. Collaborating with industries and signing MOUs with industries for student and staff centric activities.
2. Developing close links between Industry and Institute by interaction programs.
3. To encourage industry and organizations for placement and training of students in industries.
4. To conduct Industrial Training and Industrial Visits for the students and faculty.
5. To encourage Industry to collaborate in Industry Study Tour Program, Internship Program and In-Plant Training.
6. Organizing seminars, symposiums, exhibitions and workshops on latest technological advancements, evaluation of project work with the collaborative efforts between industrial experts and institute departments Industrial Visit.
7. Widening and effectively implementing the area of R & D and consultancy between the industries and the Institute.
8. Motivate the young executives to become successful entrepreneurs.
9. To promote participation of industry personnel in the development of curricula and high quality student projects.
10. To provide technical consultancy and training to small scale and rural industries.
11. To take up joint Research & Development projects with the industries.
12. Setting up of Center of Excellence (CoE), Laboratories in collaboration with industries in emerging & multi-disciplinary areas.
13. To promote globally recognized industry certification.
14. To establish Business Incubator at the Institute.
15. To promote industry oriented skill development.
