Admission Policy 2025-2026
Applications are invited from the eligible students who have passed PUC/10+2 equivalent examinations for admissions to various BE degree courses and MBA for the Academic Year 2023-24 as per the details given hereunder:
(a) Interested candidates can obtain the application on payment of application fee of Rs.500/- and submit the filled in application within 3 days from the date of application along with fees as prescribed here below. In case of online, interested students can download the application and fill the application and submit the filled in application through website. Such applications will be monitored by Registrar/Office Superintendent.
(b) Interested candidates are required to contact Prof. Nagayya Hiremath, Asst Prof, ECE, Admission In-charge,, with duly filled application along with the copies of marks cards with three passport size photographs for further procedure.

- In addition to the above mentioned fee structure, VTU fees, Books fee, Uniform fees, Examination fees and skill lab fees has to be paid as applicable every year.

- All the payments to be made mandatorily by DD/ONLINE/Debit Card/Credit card/NEFT/RTGS/Google Pay/Phonepe/ Online payment gateway mentioned in the college website etc. favoring the SAI VIDYA INSTIUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, BANGALORE or ONLINE PAYMENT through DEBIT / CREDIT CARD / NEFT / RTGS / GOOGLEPAY / PHONEPE etc. , After confirmation by the SVIT Management Office.

2. Eligibility Criteria
2.1 For Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
The candidates shall have passed the 2nd year Pre University or 12th standard or equivalent examination held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects - Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics.
The Candidate should have secured not less than 45% of aggregate marks in optional subjects and 40% of aggregate marks in optional subjects for SC/ST candidates with English as one of the languages for admissions to engineering. (PCM/PMB/PME/PMCS/PMBT).
2.2 For MBA:
A candidate who has passed Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MBA courses. (45% of marks in Qualifying Examination in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates).

- Copy of Aadhaar Card.
- Three latest passport size and three stamp size photographs.
- Bank Passbook 1st sheet which shows name and account number.
Note: Candidates are advised to keep sufficient copies of the certificates duly attested, since their originals will be returned only after the approval of admission from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

4. SEAT RESERVATION & REFUND POLICY:
4.1 Interested candidates should submit the Admission Application through SVIT College Admission Form with all the necessary documents mentioned above and payment of minimum amount as mentioned below and collect the ‘PROVISIONAL ADMISSION ORDER’ for reserving the seat. The ‘PROVISIONAL ADMISSION ORDER’ will be issued as confirmation of seat reservation only after paying the ‘minimum amount’ as per the Admission Policy 2025-26.

4.2 In case of surrendering the seats / officially intimating to surrender the seat reserved under management quota before the completion of second round of CET allotment , the advance amount will be refunded with deduction of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only ) out of the advance amount paid.
4.3 Any student who has taken admission through MANAGEMENT QUOTA and later gets seat to SVIT through CET/COMEDK is permitted to shift from Management quota to CET/COMEDK quota in SVIT without any deductions.
