Welcome followed by brief introduction about the speaker, Ms. Niketa Dedhia by Dr. Narayan K, Dean R&D and Professor, Department of ECE.

Ms. Niketa Dedhia is a specialist in the field of higher education and research in Germany and Europe, since last 19 years, and have counselled close to 25,000 students. Ms. Dedhia is recognized as an expert in this field and has been invited to more than 125 prestigious Indian Universities/Institutions to deliver lecture on this topic.

Ms. Dedhia used to work at the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD), an academic exchange service of the German government, from 2001 – 2011 as the head of the Western India. This was the first time that a non-German was selected at this position by DAAD; which has a presence in more than 173 countries.

The webinar was organized by IEEE Student Branch, & Department of ECE. Institute would also like acknowledge Dr Narayan .K Dean (R&D) Sincere efforts in organizing this webinar.

The speaker started with the basic overview of higher education opportunities abroad giving the live cases and explaining the criticality of the cases and the way she and her team helped them to bag the opportunity. She later moved on to explaining the various aspects like bank balance necessary, visa process, process of applying for universities and many more. She also progressed on to throwing light at working part time while studying and then concluded with a motivation for students to take up higher education in

Germany.
