A programmable logic controller (PLC) or programmable controller is a digital computer used for automation of industrial processes, such as control of machinery on factory assembly lines. Unlike general-purpose computers, the PLC is designed for multiple inputs and output arrangements, extended temperature ranges, immunity to electrical noise, and resistance to vibration and impact. Also it is required to monitor and supervise all industrial activities manually. Some automated tool is required which can control, supervise, collect data, analyses data and generate reports. A unique solution is introduced to meet all this demand is SCADA system. SCADA stands for supervisory control and data acquisition. It is an industrial control system where a computer system monitoring and controlling a process.
Prolific bridges the gap between academia and industry by creating immediately employable, multi-skilled manpower that can enhance productivity and efficiency of industrial operations. Prolific’s hands-on practical training is aimed at creating the technical workforce with advanced skill-set from diverse engineering streams like control systems, instrumentation systems, electrical systems, electrohydraulics and electro-pneumatic systems, and embedded systems.
