Women Cell “SARA” was inaugurated on 8th of March 2017 at 11:30 a.m. The Chief Guest for the inauguration Prof. M. R. Holla, Honorable Director of Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, Guest of Honor Prof. Y. Jayasimha, Founder Trustee & Dean Academics, Prof. R C Shanmukha Swamy, Founder Trustee & Dean Administration and Prof. A M PadmaReddy, Founder Trustee & Dean Student Affairs in the presence of Dr. H S Ramesh Babu, Principal, Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, Bangaluru. The Convener of  ”SARA” Dr. Chitra Kiran N, Professor and HOD Department of ECE and also Prof. Sujatha Mukharji  presided the occasion. Prof. Mary M. D’souza gave presentation on the awareness of “Anti sexual harassment”. Inaugural function was carried between 11:30 a.m to 12:50 p.m.

Afternoon session started at 1:30 p.m with a talk on “Personal Hygiene, stress and Nutrition management” by Prof. Sujatha Mukarji and Prof. Chethan Srinivas spoke about “Concept of Well Being”. 

The afternoon session was concluded at 4:00 p.m by conducting small events such as tongue twister and musical chair performed by students.
