ETHICAL HACKING AND INFORMATION SECURITY WORKSHOP                           

Techgenes forum in association with IEEE Photonic society organised a workshop on Ethical hacking and information security on 01/04/2017 and 02/04/2017 conducted by TechBharath consulting. The trainer who facilitated the workshop is Mr. Amit Kumar.

Amit Kumar has a work Experience of around 5+ years of experience in the field of Ethical Hacking and various penetration testing tools.

He is a trainer for cyber security, network security and he is also a member of Indian ethical hackers’ society.

The workshop commenced after the lamp lighting ceremony by HOD Dr. Chitrakiran.N. and an invocation song.

The modules covered on the 1st April are

  • Introduction to Ethical hacking
  • Email hacking and tracing
  • Google Account hacking
  • Computer hacking and Forensics
  • Trojan And Backdoors
  • Sniffers

 The workshop ended at around 6-o-clock in the evening on the first day. The second day session went as prior scheduled and ended at 4.30 pm.

The modules covered on the second day of the workshop are

  • Session Hijacking
  • Social Engineering
  • Website Hacking And Security
  • Advanced SQL Injunction
  • Pen Testing with Kali-Linux
  • Pen Testing with Android

The sessions were interactive and students participated with enthusiasm.

There was a competition conducted by the company people and Excellence certificate was given to the winners.

As the end of the day of workshop we received an excellent feedback by participants.
