Department of Information Science & Computer Science Engineering Sai Vidya Institute of Technology in association with Infidata Technologies, Bengaluru hosted 3 Day workshop on “Python Application Development” at SVIT campus. The workshop was organized from 22nd January 2018 to 24th January 2018.

The workshop started with the blessings of almighty, and was presided by our beloved Founder trustee & Director Prof. M R Holla  SSVVSS, Prof. Y Jayasimha founder trustee SSVVSS, Dr. H S Ramesh Babu Principal  SVIT and Dr. Vrinda Shetty Head dept. of ISE SVIT. Prof. A M Padma Reddy, Founder trustee SSVVSS had wished a grand success for the workshop.

Mr. B Nagesh Rao, Principal Engineer Nokia was the Chief Guest for the inauguration function. Also he was the key note speaker for the workshop. In his keynote address Mr. Nagesh Rao addressed the industrial importance of Python.

Prof. B S Nagamahesh Asst. Prof. dept. of CSE SVIT & CEO of Infidata Technologies was the resource person for 1st and 3rd day of workshop. He provided insight to Python programming and covered OOC using Python.

Prof. Harisha D S Asst. Prof. dept. of ISE SVIT was the resource person for 1st and 3rd day of workshop. His talk was on basics of python and database concepts.  

Prof. Dheeraj D, Asst. Prof. dept. of ISE Global Academy of Technology & Technical Consultant Infidata Technologies was the resource person for the 2nd day of workshop and he has covered core python programming, string handling and file handling in Python.

In total there were 40 participants for the workshop that comprised teaching faculty and students from Bangalore and other parts of Karnataka.

The valedictory function of 3 day workshop was held on 24th January 2018 in the presence of Dr. H S Ramesh Babu Principal Sai Vidya Institute of Technology. The participants shared their opinion about the workshop and thanked SVIT for providing an opportunity to be part of the said workshop.
